Time and Location
We meet at 1580 Clinton-Raymond Road in Clinton, Mississippi (Click here for a map).
Sunday Morning worship is at 10:30am. Before worship, we have a Sunday School that meets weekly at 9:15. Our Sunday School series this fall is on the hymns of the faith.
How should I dress?
We really want you to wear what you want to wear. For some people that will mean a suit and tie. For others, that will be shorts and a t-shirt. That said, our church generally dresses casual but we do have some who like to wear a suit. The pastor wears a suit and the choir is in robes, but they are up front. Ultimately, we don’t want what we wear to be a barrier to anyone!
What is the worship service like?
We use an order of worship that has been used by Christians for many centuries, but we want our worship to be understood for people today. We are looking to have a high-church liturgy with a low-church feel. So we take time to explain what we are doing and why we are doing it. Our morning worship service is blended with both piano-led and acoustic-led hymns. We generally preach through books of the bible, verse by verse, and we work hard to make the bible understandable and applicable to everyone.
What else do you offer besides Sunday Morning?
We have small groups that meet throughout the week. We believe that worship on Sunday is the climax of our week as a church. We also believe that lives lived together in community is vital to the life of the church. If you have any interest in joining a small group, contact Ian Kayser at: Ian@ppcpca.com
Is there anything for my kids?
You can check out our children's ministry here and youth ministry here. We have Sunday School classes for K4/K5, 1-3 and 4-6th grades. and we have various fun activities for kids throughout the year like VBS, a Christmas program, play dates and more. Our youth group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm. We take our youth on retreats, summer conferences, and more. We do offer a nursery for young children ages 0-3 during sunday worship. We are a family church, so we believe that it is a blessing to have our children join us for worship as they grow. We believe that worship shapes, instructs, teaches, and we believe it honors God to have our children in worship with us!
